I’ve had a total crafter crush on Ms. Doherty since she was one of the first crafters to start making the Japanese-esque toys state-side. Her website, Gourmet Amigurumi, is endlessly inspring, and her book Amigurumi!: Super Happy Crochet Cute stands above the rest for it’s ambitious projects and detailed finishing. Needless to say, I was absolutely psyched to see this profile of her on the wonderful Craftzine blog- Check’in In: Amigurumi Master Beth Doherty.
