My favorite thing about these kinds of knitting gatherings is how totally geeky it gets when you throw a bunch of people together who are all rabidly passionate about the same thing. Tanis and I spent much of the time playing spot-that-knit with each other: “I’ve totally seen three of that shawl already today,” name-that-yarn, “Malabrigo, no question” and best of all, seen-it-in-VK; “That’s ours! I totally picked out those buttons!” While I was lulled into the misty fiber-fueled haze only broken by trips to the deep-fried artichoke tent, the apple pie a la mode tent, the chicken pot pie tent (you get the idea) Tanis snapped these three pics of people wearing Vogue Knitting sweaters.
